{"id":511,"date":"2017-11-24T05:13:43","date_gmt":"2017-11-24T05:13:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bryanwagstaff.com\/?page_id=511"},"modified":"2020-07-17T23:15:52","modified_gmt":"2020-07-17T23:15:52","slug":"gamedev-net-dexterity-archive","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/bryanwagstaff.com\/index.php\/gamedev-net-dexterity-archive\/","title":{"rendered":"Dexterity Articles"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry\">\n<p>Back around 1999 to 2003, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dexterity.com\">Steve Pavlina<\/a> published a series of articles on <a href=\"http:\/\/gamedev.net\">gamedev.net<\/a> and on his own site devoted to personal growth and improvement.\u00a0 He posted hundreds of articles on his own site, several were referenced in gamedev.net posts.<\/p>\n<p>In 2010, he posted an <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20200717231429\/https:\/\/www.dexterity.com\/uncopyright-notice\/\">&#8220;Uncopyright Notice&#8221;<\/a> declaring that he was releasing the rights to reprint and redistribute his many articles, including those on his site and those that he had published elsewhere which did not have copyrights reserved elsewhere. His notice still reserved moral rights, particularly the rights to attribution and integrity of the work.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, time is not kind to Internet resources. Many of his articles have vanished in website updates and archives.\u00a0 I have decided to host a copy of the articles I liked so they will not be lost.\u00a0 Where possible, I have also linked back to the gamedev.net archives when I can find them, and will remove the link when it dies.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you, Steve, for these amazing articles.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'PT Serif', TimesNewRoman, 'Times New Roman', Times, Baskerville, Georgia, serif;
